Children’s Shopping Spree has been one of our core annual projects for many years and is a favorite of members. We work with a nonprofit partner to take a group of local children back-to-school shopping!
2025 Back-to-School Shopping Event

Project Details
- We partner with a local nonprofit who provides the list of 45 kids (on average) our Network will take back-to-school shopping.
- Valley River Center and several businesses within VRC generously work with us to offer a fun day of shopping, lunch, and a backpack of goodies the kids get to take home.
- This is a closed volunteer project to ensure the safety of the children, you must be a member or partner to participate.

How can I sign my kids up for this?
We work directly with a nonprofit who coordinates on their end the list of children participating. We have no control over that list.
We recommend reaching out to one of our local nonprofit partners if you are looking for assistance with purchasing back-to-school clothes, supplies, and more for your kids.
